Pyastro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the pyastro platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We collect: account information (name, email, phone, password), birth data (date, time, place), compatibility data, payment information (processed by Stripe), and usage data.
We use your information to: provide the Service, process payments, send transactional emails, send SMS alerts (if opted in), improve the Service, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Birth data is central to our services. We store it encrypted at rest with TLS in transit, use it solely for astrological purposes, and do not sell it to third parties.
We share your information with: astrologers, Stripe (payment processor), Anthropic (AI interpretations), and governmental authorities when legally required. We do not sell your data.
We retain account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
You may have the right to: access your personal data, request correction, request erasure, withdraw consent, and object to processing. Contact privacy@pyastro.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents have specific privacy rights under CCPA. European Economic Area users are protected under GDPR. Our legal basis includes: consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal compliance.
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
